Janell has been the payroll officer for Northern Lights Public Schools since November 2019. Prior to payroll, Janell was employed as the Finance Officer with the district during Jessica Charchun's maternity leave. Although she has only been with the district for 2 years, Janell brings her knowledge and 6+ years of experience from the Lakeland Catholic School District, where she was the Payroll and Benefits Administrator. Janell is very passionate about payroll and is working towards her CPM (Certified Payroll Manager) through the Canadian Payroll Association. She is a Hockey and Cheer mom to Austin (11) and Payton (7).
